The Inspiring Ideas Challenge (TIIC)

The Inspiring Ideas ChallengeInnovation for improvement is about doing things differently or doing new things to make positive change. There are various definitions of innovation in health care but they all focus on introducing new methods, technologies or ideas to make someone or something better (The Health Foundation 2015).

The aim of the projects funded through the TIIC program is to improve the health and wellbeing of patients, staff and / or the broader community, through the application of innovative ideas.

The purpose of TIIC is to:

  • Encourage staff to share their innovative ideas to improve health outcomes for our patients, staff and community across SESLHD
  • Assist services to develop innovative approaches and ideas to improve health care quality
  • Build a portfolio of innovation projects readily available to others
  • Contribute to and generate ideas as a SESLHD community
