AIM For Fitness

A community based education and exercise program for older women and men, A.I.M. (Active, Involved, Mature) promotes good health and well-being through exercise and the sharing of health information to healthy older people, frail older people, people with disabilities, and people from different cultures. It covers five local government areas: Randwick, Botany, Waverley, Woollahra, and part of the City of Sydney.

Who can join?

Women and men 60 years of age and over who would like to be more active.

Classes are held each term and there are four terms a year of 8-10 weeks duration. Classes are held locally at accessible community venues. One or more classes may be taken each week and classes are graded to suit the level of those taking part.

Class leaders are Registered Fitness Leaders or physiotherapists. Classes are also held for specific language groups and details can be found on the term class list.

Term fees

Fees start at $7.15 per class (includes GST) for a ten week term based on one class a week.  Single classes are $10.00 each.
