Welcome to the website for the construction update of The Bright Alliance
building project at the Randwick Hospitals Campus -
Nelune Comprehensive Cancer
Centre (NCCC) and the
Scientia Clinical Research project (previously known as
the Australian Advanced Treatment Centre (AATC) and
Sydney Children’s Hospital
Network expansion.
The Prince of Wales Hospital’s
Nelune Comprehensive Cancer Centre will deliver
modern facilities for the treatment of patients with cancer and blood disorders
in one centralised location at the Randwick Hospitals Campus.
UNSW Australia’s
Scientia Clinical Research will be the first
purpose-built early phase clinical trial facility in NSW.
The
Sydney Children’s Hospital Network expansion will include
space for research, adolescent, genetics and clinical support services for
Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick to continue the delivery of world class
paediatric health care to patients and families over the coming decades.
The Bright Alliance building comprises 10-storeys, with an overall budget of
$114 million.
Construction of the Bright Alliance building was completed in December 2016 and
is now fully operational.
On Tuesday, 18 April 2017, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and NSW Minister for
Health and Minister for Medical Research Brad Hazzard, officially opened the
Bright Alliance Building, a world-class health care and medical research
facility at the Randwick Hospitals Campus.
