COVID-19 testing is accessible through your GP who can assess you via telehealth and arrange testing if this is required. Contact your GP for more information.

    Testing for ages 16 years and over. Children 5 – 15 years should attend either the Bondi Beach drive-through COVID-19 testing clinic or Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, for testing.
    Children under 5 years old should attend Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, for testing.

    Testing for children 1 year and over. Children under 1 year old should attend Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick.
    Please note, the last patient will be triaged at 5.30pm, to allow staff to finalise testing patients prior to closure at 6pm.

    Testing for ages 16 years and over. Children under 16 years old should attend Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, for testing.

  • Sydney CHILDREN’s Hospital
    Outpatients Department, entrance via Hospital Rd (off High Street), Randwick
    The COVID-19 Assessment Clinic will review children with mild respiratory symptoms and assess the need for COVID-19 swab. The clinic is staffed by paediatric trained medical and nursing staff.
    The operating hours for the Sydney Children’s Hospital COVID-19 Assessment Clinic are 8.30am to 4pm, 7 days a week.
    The clinic will continue to provide COVID-19 testing to children and their accompanying parent/carer. However, any child who requires a medical review will need to visit their GP or attend an Emergency Department.

  • Hurstville Community Health Centre

    No referral or appointment is required and disability access and parking is available on-site.
    9:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday
    (Closed weekends and public holidays)
    Testing available for children five years and older. Babies, toddlers and pre-school age children can be tested at St George Hospital.

    Testing available for children over 12 months of age. Children under 12 months will continue to be seen via the Emergency Department and all patients should continue to go to the ED after hours for COVID-19 screening.

Sutherland Shire

  • Caringbah COVID-19 Testing Centre  
    348R The Kingsway, Caringbah  (located next to the pedestrian access linking the Kingsway to the supermarket)

    The clinic is free and no referral or appointment required
    Restricted to school age children and older. Younger children to attend Sutherland Hospital

  • Sutherland Hospital

    No age restrictions for children, however if the child is too unwell, they will be referred to the Sutherland Hospital emergency department.

  • Sutherland  COVID 19 Drive-Through Testing Centre
    Waratah Park, Off old Princes Hwy (Rawson Ave) Sutherland - Sutherland Basketball Stadium car park at the  rear of Sutherland Leisure Centre.
    9am - 4pm  7 days a week
    Closed on public holidays
    No referral or appointment required
    Children under 5 years old are not tested at this clinic and should attend the Sutherland Hospital COVID-19 Testing Clinic
