Healthy and Active for Life Online Program (HAL Online)

HALThe Healthy and Active for Life Program is a FREE 10-week online program.

The program supports individuals to participate in safe physical activity and provides healthy lifestyle tips.

Participants learn new skills and knowledge and increase their confidence to lead active and healthy lives.

People 60 years and over living independently

People who can walk independently without a walking frame indoors

People who are not attending weekly exercise groups, excluding a walking group

People who are able to understand English

Participants register online and participate from home in moderate intensity circuit exercises, including strength and balance exercises. Participants are supported by online videos of each exercise and complete online modules on healthy lifestyle topics. Participants receive a program manual and handouts by post and weekly support from a trained telephone coach.
