Recognising excellence across our District

On Monday night we celebrated excellence, innovation in care and service delivery at the 2026 CORE Awards at the State Library of NSW. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners.

Staff and guests, celebrated the remarkable people and teams who go above and beyond every day, reinforcing the District’s commitment to delivering exceptional and innovative care.

This year, a record number of 298 nominations were received, which translated into 53 finalists across the 18 award categories.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Outstanding Service to the Organisation Award by to Ruth Hennessy, Manager of the Psychology Unit at the Albion Centre.

Ruth exemplifies outstanding service to the organisation through more than 25 years of dedicated service at The Albion Centre.
