Children's Allied Health

The children’s allied health team assess and treat children with developmental delays, including physical, cognitive, and social-emotional challenges. We work in partnership with parents/carers, educators, and other healthcare providers to create a supportive environment. The care provided is tailored to the specific needs of each child and family. 

Our team consists of Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy.

Who is eligible? 

Our service supports children in the ‘First 2000 days’ of life, who live in the St George and Sutherland Shire areas. Children with multiple needs may be offered multi-disciplinary services (MDT).

Important information: 

  • Free service, no cost involved
  • No GP referral required
  • Limited sessions provided
  • Services provided at community health centres
  • Children with a current NDIS package are NOT eligible
  • Families of children with significant developmental concerns should contact NDIS/ Early Childhood Approach to assess eligibility for funding.
