Network Training Site - LBH

Lismore Base Hospital (LBH) is an acute referral hospital of 260 beds on the Far North Coast of NSW. LBH is an affiliated teaching hospital for medical students from NSW and QLD, and has a strong commitment to teaching and support for its JMOs. It serves a population of around 170,000 on the Far North Coast of NSW. It is the recognized Trauma Centre for the North Coast, including a helicopter retrieval service covering a 300km radius.

Lismore City is situated between World Heritage listed rainforest and the pristine beaches of Evans Head, Ballina, Lennox Head and is only 45 minutes away from the world-renowned beaches of Byron Bay. Byron Bay. This area is blessed by year round sun, a tropical climate and a short winter. From lush hinterland villages, to Mount Warning, national parks, and sparkling beaches, the region is full of natural wonders and vibrant destinations all within a short drive from Lismore.
