Outpatient Services
The Adult, Paediatric and Antenatal Outpatient Departments provides appointments with doctors, nurses, and allied health staff across medical and surgical specialties.
Services are available by referral from a GP, specialist, or following a presentation to St George Hospital Emergency Department.
Post-operative follow-up appointments are arranged by the treating team after discharge
GP Referrals
Electronic referrals (eReferrals) are the preferred method for receiving referrals across outpatient services. eReferrals (smartForms) can be submitted via MyHealthLink Portal or via practice software (Best Practice, Medical Director, Genie, MedTech).
Electronic Referrals are the preferred and most secure method to ensure timely and efficient communication.
