Celebrating mothers

Mother’s Day was celebrated across our District with special treats to shower mums with love and appreciation.

Garrawarra Centre celebrated Mother’s Day by surprising residents with a high tea and pamper treatments. The centre’s diversional therapists worked with families to organise special Mother’s Day greetings with the theme ‘all about my mum’, sharing beautiful memories and gratitude.

New mums at St George Hospital were given sweet treats, gifts, flowers and a pamper experience thanks to HAIRFUNKD hairdressers.

Over at the Royal Hospital for Women the IXIAH brand delivered indulgent care packages valued at $450 to every mum in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

A shout out to the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation, who raised funds for the hospital through their Mother's Day Raffle. New mum Magnolia was the lucky winner – taking home an extravagant prize pack valued at over $8,000!
