About Mental Health

Mental health services in South Eastern Sydney Local Health District are provided in three geographical areas:

• Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service
• St George Mental Health Service
• Sutherland Mental Health Service

There are also referral services that can give specialist advice for people experiencing specific illnesses or conditions, namely:

• Black Dog Institute
• The Neuropsychiatric Institute based at Prince of Wales Hospital
• St Vincent's Hospital Clinical Research Centre for Anxiety & Depression (CRUfAD)
• St Vincent's Hospital HIV/Mental Health Service
