Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient Service
What we do?
The Acute Adult Mental Health Inpatient Service provides a variety of interventions and therapies for consumers who are experiencing acute symptoms of their mental health disorder and requires care within an inpatient setting. A person admitted to a unit can either be voluntary or involuntary under the NSW Mental Health Act (2007). A mental health clinician authorised by a consultant psychiatrist will conduct an assessment to determine whether an admission is the best option.
