“I lead a diverse team that provides a range of recruitment and workforce transactions functions for managers across the district. We have a strong customer service focus with our hiring managers and the goal is to help assist managers in timely processing of the onboarding of candidates to ensure we have the best candidates to deliver patient care for SESLHD.

Every day is a new experience, there is a new problem to solve or idea to implement to improve the services that we provide to the hiring managers and/or candidates. I have a great team, and they are the highlight of my job every day.

We received team of the year at the 2024 SESLHD CORE Awards, which was a great way to be recognised considering the volume of work and change that was undertaken over the previous 12 months. Even though we’re not a clinical department, we strive to reduce the administration burden of hiring managers so they can spend their valuable time on the clinical side of their roles.”
