Lead Recruitment Partner

Mental Health

“I’ve been working in health since I was 17. I started as a ward clerk at the kid’s hospital when I was at Uni. Once I finished I thought ‘what am I going to do?’ and I didn’t really want to leave health, so I applied for a role at SESLHD and I’ve never left, and I don’t see myself leaving anytime soon.

My role involves working with hiring managers and candidates to provide support throughout the recruitment process. I’m also responsible for developing strategies to help streamline the process to fill those hard-to-fill vacancies.

I think everyone plays a role with patient care. Starting in a clinical setting I was able to see how vacancies can put pressure on managers and staff on wards. I feel like our team will always try to do our job as effectively and efficiently as possible, just to reduce the timeframes to get people on the floor.

Outside of work, I’m a big foodie. I love going out to new restaurants with my friends and spend almost every second outside work with my friends and family. I love reading and going overseas on holidays to see my family.”
