A/Manager, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Team

I’m very extroverted.  I love coming in, meeting new people, bringing joy into people's lives - whether that’s patients or the teams you work with. My background is as a dietitian, but I’m currently acting in the role of manager, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. It used to be Diversity Health, but now we’ve expanded. The change in our portfolio has been really good for the team, and the support we’ve had from the executive and General Manager has been amazing.  

We use different training and programs to support staff.  It’s mainly internally focussed, making staff aware of the diversity of the community we serve, and how we can support our staff from those diverse backgrounds. We’re so lucky that we get to meet such diverse people working in health. 

My big hobby is going snowboarding, so most teams that I work in know I often go overseas throughout the year to go snowboarding.  I love going to Japan. I’ve been there a few different times. I’m really lucky I live on the beach, so I spend a lot of time going there with my dog and my husband.
