St George Hospital celebrates World Physiotherapy Day

There was much to celebrate at St George Hospital this World Physiotherapy Day, as Terry Lock, Physiotherapy Assistant, was recognised for 40-years of service.

Terry received a 40-year service pin, certificate and congratulatory letter from Leisa Rathborne, General Manager, St George Hospital.

Susan Sellars, Physiotherapy Department Head, St George Hospital, said staff came together to celebrate the annual awareness day.

"World Physiotherapy Day marks the unity of the global physiotherapy community and is an opportunity to recognise the work that physiotherapists do to keep people well, mobile and independent.”

"Around the district, it’s important we acknowledge the achievements of staff – this year we were lucky enough to commend Terry for his incredible 40-years of dedicated service at St George Hospital,” Ms Sellers said.
