Top honours for POWH Professor

A big congratulations to Associate Professor Monica Rossleigh, a Senior Staff Specialist at the Department of Nuclear Medicine at The Prince of Wales Hospital (POWH). Associate Professor Rossleigh is one of this year's recipients of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging’s Presidential Distinguished Educator Award.

The prestigious award recognises Associate Professor Rossleigh’s extraordinary commitment to the education and training of nuclear medicine professionals. As an esteemed and internationally renowned specialist in Nuclear Medicine, particularly in the fields of thyroid disease and paediatric nuclear medicine, Associate Professor Rossleigh has been working as a staff specialist at POWH and Sydney Children’s Hospital for more than 35 years.

The Award is a big honour for and a well-deserved recognition of Professor Rossleigh’s contribution to the Nuclear Medicine profession and healthcare over the years – not just in Australia,  but internationally.
