“My Primary Role as an Emergency Department (ED) Data Manager

As an ED Data Manager, my main responsibility is to ensure the efficient, effective, and secure management of patient data in the emergency department. When I analyse the data and see the trends, it supports management’s decision-making and ensures compliance and collaboration with various teams. This helps with both patient care and operational efficiency.

Outside of my work, I have two adult sons, and I make it a priority to spend time with them on weekends. Additionally, I have a passion for cycling, which I find to be an excellent form of exercise.

I enjoy coming to work here, it’s a beautiful place. I’ve been here 30 years. Working at Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital you get to know all the staff and create strong bonds with many of them, which leads to a positive work environment."
