St George Hospital is a 627-bed major teaching hospital of the University of NSW and is a tertiary referral centre. St George Hospital is the Level 1 Trauma Centre for SESLHD and is among the leading centres for trauma and emergency management in the State. The hospital’s close proximity to Sydney airport makes it a vital service providing first response to the airport precinct.
St George Hospital is located in the suburb of Kogarah, 14 kilometres south of the Sydney CBD. The area is well serviced by buses, trains and major roads and is known for its sporting history, picturesque parks, foreshore and its relaxed, family-oriented lifestyle.

You will be covered by appropriate State Awards. Conditions and rates of pay will vary dependent on the position you apply for, and the Award that you are covered by, but conditions will generally include provisions for penalty rates for shift work, overtime, rostered days off and allowances. About the St George District
