Trade Apprenticeship Pathway – Semester I 2025 Intake

Employment Status: Full-time

Hours/FTE: 38 hours per week (including TAFE NSW attendance)

Facility: Prince of Wales, St George and Sutherland Hospitals

Location: Your Local NSW TAFE in South Eastern Sydney

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) and MEGT Apprenticeship Network Provider are excited to offer Trade Apprenticeship pathways for motivated and trade passionate individuals.

Targeted trades are electrical / plumbing / carpentry and painting.  You will gain a Certificate III in your chosen field with the security of employment in a facility that offers diversity of skills training with our ongoing building developments.

This apprenticeship is an exciting and challenging opportunity which allows you to take a first step towards learning and building a successful career.  Completing your apprenticeship with SESLHD will provide you with a platform to launch your career and emerge as a first-class tradesperson.

Selection Criteria

  1. Australian working rights.
  2. Must be 18yrs of age when commencing the role.
  3. Ability to commit to 4 years apprenticeship.
  4. Minimum completion of year 10 or equivalent
  5. Willing to work in different locations within SESLHD
  6. Have a genuine passion and interest in the apprenticeship you nominate
  7. You are self-motivated with a strong focus on safety
