Kirketon Road Centre runs four satellite clinics to help people access services where they need them. Two of our clinics are especially for young people. 

Free, anonymous care

Our services are:

  • confidential
  • anonymous 
  • free
  • provided by experts: multidisciplinary doctors, nurses and counsellors 
  • available without a referral 
  • available without a Medicare card

NSW Users and AIDS Association (NUAA)

You can see a free Kirketon Road Centre nurse at the NUAA needle syringe program. The nurse can help out with

  • blood tests
  • sexual health checks
  • vaccinations
  • liver fibroscans (book ahead)
  • referrals for treatment for hepatitis C
  • any other health questions or concern you may have.

When?

NUAA Open: Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm

KRC Clinic at NUAA: Monday - Friday 12pm-3pm

The Uniting Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC)

You can see a free Kirketon Road Centre doctor at the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC) three times per week. The doctor can help out with:

  • blood tests
  • sexual health checks
  • vaccinations
  • liver fibroscans (book ahead)
  • treatment for hepatitis C
  • referrals for treatment
  • any other health questions or concerns you may have

Where?

66 Darlinghurst Rd, Kings Cross

When?

  • 10am-1pm Monday
  • 10am-1pm Thursday
  • 2pm-5pm either Wednesday or Friday (alternates each week)

Youth Clinics

Each week, our youth friendly nurses provide a variety of free and confidential services at two inner-city locations.

  • Sexual health testing
  • Contraception information and support
  • HPV virus (Gardasil) vaccinations
  • Blood tests
  • Hepatitis A & B testing and vaccination
  • Hepatitis C testing and treatment
  • HIV testing and treatment
  • General health checks
  • Social welfare advice
  • Assessment and referral to drug treatment services
