Sally is the Nursing Co-Director of NCC working closely with Dr Bolisetty on the strategic management of Newborn Care. Within this role she oversees the overall function and forward planning of the unit. She represents the Royal Hospital for Women in Local Health District and State-wide Forums. |

Anna Scott-Murphy RN, BSci/M Nrsg, Grad Cert in NICU |
Anna is the Nursing Unit Manager of NCC, responsible for the day-to-day management, coordinating nursing services and providing leadership for the multidisciplinary team within the unit. Her focus is also on providing support for staff and maintaining an environment that promotes skill development, personal and professional development. Anna has worked as a Neonatal Nurse for over 10 years with a focus on Family Integrated Care. |

Mary Daly RN, RM, CFHN, IBCLC Graduate Diploma in Critical Care and a Certificate in Effective Leadership |
Mary is a Clinical Nurse Unit Manager Level 1. She is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care, supporting staff development, and overseeing the day-to-day coordination of the unit. Mary has dedicated over 30 years to Royal Hospital for Women and is proud to be part of the leadership team, providing clinical and operational leadership within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Mary is passionate about delivering family-centred care to premature and unwell newborns while supporting parents every step of the way. She is an Accredited Immuniser and a qualified educator (Certificate IV Training and Assessment). With keen interests in lactation and immunisation, she is committed to mentoring staff and achieving the best possible outcomes for babies and their families |

Kwee Bee Lindrea RN, RM, NICU Cert., Ba Hlth Sc Nrsg and Ma Edu (Adult) |
Kwee Bee is the Clinical Nurse Consultant responsible for the implementation of safe clinical practices including development of Clinical Business Rules. She has a strong focus in nursing education and training, both locally and overseas. She is also a trained NeoResus Facilitator and is a member of the Developmental Care Round Team. She has a keen interest in quality improvement projects related to neonatal care and is a champion for central line management in NCC. |

Patty Everitt (on leave) RN, RM, NICU Cert, IBCLC, BFin |
Patty is the Clinical Midwifery Consultant for lactation in Newborn Care Centre. She is a midwife with over 20 years’ experience in neonatal nursing, with a strong focus on research, quality improvement and lactation education. Her expertise is with women who have complex breastfeeding challenges, enabling them to initiate and maintain their breast milk supply, and establish breastfeeding. She believes in supporting mothers to achieve their lactation and breastfeeding goals. |

Eszter Jozsa RN, Grad Cert in NICU Nrsg, IBCLC & Ma Nurs (Mgmt & Leadership) |
Eszter is a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), currently acting in the lactation Consultant role. Eszter is a qualified lactation consultant, an independent nurse immuniser and a trained NeoResus Facilitator. She also has a strong focus on education for staff and parents. |

Ruth is the Nurse Educator (NE) working together with the education team in planning and co-ordinating education programs within the unit. This includes facilitating education for over 100 nursing staff, supporting the new graduate nurse program and introduction to neonatal nursing program, and collaborating with the senior leadership team in the management of NCC. Ruth’s other interest includes care of the surgical infant, professional development of nursing staff, infection control. She is also a Hand Hygiene Auditor Trainer. |

Susan Walsh RN, Grad Cert in NICU Nrsg, IBCLC. and Ma Edu (Adult) |
Susan is the Acting Nurse Educator (NE) working together with other members of the education team for the planning, co-ordination and delivery of education within the unit. Susan is also a trained NeoResus Facilitator and coordinates the Neonatal Advanced Life Support training workshop of NCC. |

Joanne Blaeck RN, SCN Cert, NICU Cert, Post Grad Clinical Leadership |
Joanne is a clinical nurse specialist in the NICUS Data Manager Role and is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and management of the NICUS data collection; including data retrieval from the NICUS database for medical and nursing staff undertaking Clinical Research. She is an important member of the NCC team especially in providing training and support on NICUS database for all medical and nursing staff. Her role also includes co-ordinating the Growth and Development Clinic. |

Celia Cunha da Silva RN SCN Cert NICU Cert |
Celia is a Neonatal Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (NPICU) Senior Analyst, for the clinical electronic system (eRIC), used in NCC. Celia trains all end users (medical and nursing) on safe use of the system and is responsible for troubleshooting with system issues, upgrades, access requests and audits. She also has a keen interest in education |

Joanna Michalowski RN RM NICU Cert |
Joanna is a Clinical Nurse Specialist working part-time as a research co-ordinator in NCC. She is responsible for coordinating the unit’s research projects and multicentre trials in the NICU. Jo had a leading role in fundraising and was the chairperson with organising NCC’s charity ball called `Bubbles for Babies Ball' in 2016 and co-ordinated renovations of the parents’ facilities in NCC. |

Sheeba Binoy BSc (Clinical Nrsg Studies) Ma Sc (Adv. Practice – Neonatal) |
Sheeba is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in NCC since 2018. She works in collaboration with other nurse practitioners and the medical team in NCC. She has a strong focus on education and participates with the education team in NCC’s education program. She has also presented and taught in hospitals overseas together with the CNC of NCC. |

Michelle Currie BSc Nursing, MSc Advanced Practice- Clinical

Michelle has been a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in NCC since 2019, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality neonatal care. She is actively involved in postgraduate teaching and clinical education, supporting advanced practice development and mentoring clinicians in training. Michelle is also engaged in nurse practitioner governance at a district level, contributing to policy development, professional standards, and strategic initiatives that strengthen and support the NP role. |

Charlotte Walter RN, BA Arts, Grad Cert in NICU Nrsg, MAdv Nursing Practice |
Charlotte is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in NCC. She works in collaboration with other nurse practitioners and the medical team in NCC. She has been employed as the CNE on the unit since 2020 and has a passion for education and clinical preceptoring. |

Karen Brodaty Administration Officer for Newborn Care Department |
Karen provides secretarial assistance mainly to the Co-Directors of Newborn Care Department and neonatal consultants. She organises and ensures daily clerical support runs smoothly and informs the Clinical Co-Directors of upcoming meetings to attend. She is also responsible for organising visitation and meetings of professional visitors to the Newborn Care Department and the NICU. |

Brianna Draskovic Growth & Development Clinic Coordinator |
Brianna is responsible for the coordination of the Growth and Development Clinic, including data entry into the NICUS database. She also provides administrative support to the Department of Newborn care Centre and assists all medical staff including junior doctors with their daily administrative enquiries. |
