Our Partners
Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Services is a major tertiary referral and teaching hospital serving all of NSW.
The hospital is affiliated with various universities and premier medical teaching facilities in Australia, namely the University of NSW (UNSW Sydney) which enables our staff to provide excellence in healthcare in conjunction with our commitment to quality clinical teaching and leading medical research.
The affiliation helps us provide excellence in care in conjunction with our commitment to clinical teaching and medical research.
The hospital also has several partners at the Randwick Hospitals' Campus, including:
- Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service – Mental Health Directorate, SESLHD
- The Health Science Alliance
- Royal Hospital for Women
- Sydney Children’s Hospital - Randwick
- UNSW Sydney - Medicine
The collaborative work with our partners ensures that together we can provide an exceptional level of healthcare to our consumers, patients and communities.
The Bright building on the corner of Avoca and High Streets on the Randwick Hospitals' Campus is also home to some of our campus partners. The Bright brings clinical care, research and education under the one roof.
It houses:
- Prince of Wales Hospital’s Nelune Comprehensive Cancer Centre
- UNSW Sydney’s Scientia Clinical Research project
- An expansion of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network
The NSW government has also committed an unprecedented $720 million investment for the Randwick Campus Redevelopment, which will include construction of a new Acute Services Building for the hospital.
The campus will be transformed into a state-of-the-art health, research and education Precinct with high quality co-located clinical services.
The project is being delivered by Health Infrastructure and the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District in collaboration with our precinct partners Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and UNSW Sydney.
