Making, changing or cancelling an appointment:

To make, change or cancel and appointment or to make a follow up appointment please phone 02 9382 6240 OR contact the Medical Oncology CNC on 02 9382 6229 / 0417 944 297 (Business hours only).

Clinic appointments are covered by both the consultant and a registrar, this is a public clinic and you may see the registrar for your appointment but this will be overseen by your consultant.

As this is a public clinic unfortunately there are sometimes unavoidable delays and there may be wait times as a consequence. We suggest you bring something to occupy yourself whilst waiting.

This is a public hospital clinic and women with a Medicare card will be bulk billed for their clinic appointments.

Chemotherapy at the RHW is ordered in from a specialist chemotherapy pharmacy called Slade . We send your prescription to Slade then they send us the medication/chemotherapy to administer. We then bill Medicare on your behalf. Most drugs are 100% covered by PBS but there are some medications you may need that may have a PBS co-payment (the same as if you took any other script to your own pharmacy). Slade will bill you directly in this instance by sending an invoice to your home.

Medicare ineligible patients will have a fee to pay up front (please contact reception for up to date schedule of charges).
