Services Development and Informatics

We provide district-wide HIV, sexually transmissible infections (STIs) and viral hepatitis data to the NSW Ministry of Health for reporting purposes and are responsible for the service's Activity Based Funding Management. We also work with healthcare providers, key stakeholders and consumers to identify processes and activities to improve patient access, service delivery and better health outcomes.

HIV, Hepatitis and Sexual Health Promotion

This team works across both SESLHD and the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD). We are responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of programs designed to reduce the incidence and impact of HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and viral hepatitis among priority population groups.

Harm Reduction and Viral Hepatitis

Our team is responsible for the management and coordination of population based viral hepatitis prevention activities and programs within the district and includes the strategic support of needle and syringe programs (NSP) managed by the Kirketon Road Centre.
