Free, confidential health checks, no appointment required
Free women’s health checks are provided at clinics for women who may be experiencing disadvantage or have difficulty accessing health services. A Medicare card is not required.
Services are confidential and no appointment or referral is required.
An interpreter can be arranged if needed.
A Women’s Health Check could involve:
- cervical screening
- how to check your breasts
- contraception advice
- pregnancy planning
- 6-week post-natal check for the mother
- menopause advice
- pelvic floor advice
