Free, confidential health checks

Free women’s health checks are provided at clinics for women and people with a cervix who are experiencing disadvantage or have difficulty accessing health care. A Medicare card is not required.

Services are confidential and no referral is required.

An interpreter can be arranged if needed.

A women’s health check could involve:

cervical screening
how to check your breasts
contraception advice
pregnancy planning
six-week post-natal check for the mother
menopause advice
pelvic floor advice
