Aboriginal Lifestyle Support Program
Bulbuwil is a free healthy-lifestyle program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families who are at risk of or have a chronic health condition.
We run a variety of fun healthy lifestyle groups in the community. Our health team can provide individual tailored advice on minimising the impact of chronic conditions.
Throughout the program you will be supported by:
- Aboriginal Health Worker
- Registered Nurse
- Exercise Physiologist

- Provide health information for chronic conditions
- Self-management choices
- Access to healthy lifestyle programs
- Care coordination
- Referrals to specialised services as required
We run a variety of groups and individual services for people 15 years and over for all fitness levels such as::
- Walking groups
- Water-based activities
- At your own pace fitness
- Healthy cooking classes
- Healthy lifestyle advice
- Quit smoking program
- Diabetes education
- Dietetic advice
- Exercise Physiology advice
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families living in the St George or Sutherland Shire areas.
How do you access Bulbuwil services?
Services are available free to any person of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent with a chronic disease, or who is at risk of a chronic disease, and their families and carers. You don't need a referral, just get in touch on 0409 731 923.
