Clinical Streams

The role of the Clinical Stream is to provide clinical leadership across our Local Health District (LHD) and support clinical specialties with key priorities to enable exceptional, integrated, equitable and compassionate healthcare for our community and workforce. 

The Clinical Streams play a critical role across the following areas:

  • Support the rollout of innovative models of care
  • Clinical Risk, Quality and Safety
  • Clinical Service Strategic Planning
  • Clinical Policy
  • Support the standardisation of care across the LHD
  • Strategic Workforce planning & development
  • Collaboration, empowerment and engagement across the LHD
  • Building and maintaining relationships between the NSW Health and Pillars, NGOs, other LHDs, Primary Care and SESLHD clinicians
