Children’s Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy aims to help restore, enhance or adapt a child’s abilities and functioning at home, school and with everyday activities.
An Occupational Therapist can assess:
- Development
- Self-care skills
- Play
- Movement
- Hand skills and handwriting
- Sensory issues
What sort of help is offered?
The following supports may be offered either face to face or telehealth (video or phone), depending on availability and restrictions, for:
- Individual, multi-team or group interventions.
- Home/Preschool or School programs and liaison/consultations.
- Parent education and capacity building.
Our clients
Paediatric Occupational Therapy focuses on supporting children in the First 2000 days of life living in the St George or Sutherland local government areas. Please contact us to determine whether your child is eligible.
