Legal Aid (Health Justice Partnership)
This program is a partnership between Legal Aid NSW and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. Health justice partnerships aim to improve the wellbeing of people seen in clinical settings who have legal concerns in their everyday lives that may impact on their physical and mental health.

A lawyer from Legal Aid NSW provides this service.
What we do
This service delivers civil law advice over the telephone.
It helps resolve the legal issues that impact on people's everyday lives such as:
- fines
- credit, debt, mortgage
- tenancy and housing
- work and development orders
- scams
- work related issues
- elder abuse
People with other legal concerns will be referred to the right service.
Our clients
To access this service you must have a legal concern and be:
- a current patient of Sutherland Hospital or St George Hospital
- receiving outpatient or community care from a Sutherland Hospital or St George Hospital based service
