Grants and Scholarships

Upcoming research grants and scholarships are detailed below along with other local, state and national opportunities over the calendar year.

Translational Research Grant Scheme (TRGS) Round 5

Expressions of interest for TRGS 5 have been extended and guidelines are available.

The following priority areas have been announced:

  • Alcohol and other drugs
  • Integrated care
  • Potentially preventable hospitalisations
  • Pregnancy and the first 2000 days
  • Value based health care
  • Aboriginal health
  • Locally identified priorities.

The scheme timeline is below:

EOIs submitted to local TRGS coordinator 9 June 2020
EOIs submitted to MoH 8 July 2020
Full Application submission 20 October 2020
Full Application outcome December 2020

NSW Health PhD Partnership Program

The NSW Health PhD Partnership Program awards funding for PhD candidates to undertake research in pharmaceutical and biological therapeutics with joint academic and industry supervision.
